Donations needed after charity shop fire
CLIC Sargent have launched an urgent fundraising appeal after their shop in Fishponds was involved in a fire that will result in a loss of £36,000 for the charity.
The fire destroyed much of the goods inside the shop on Straits Parade and has forced it to close during its busiest time of the year.
“We rely entirely on donations to fund our vital work,” says CLIC Sargent’s head of trading Jason Webster.

“So it’s been devastating for us and our amazing volunteers to see this happen right before Christmas.”
The charity have created a JustGiving page to raise donations.
“We are now calling on all Bristolians to please back our campaign,” adds Webster.
“Please donate whatever you can to help us make sure we can continue to support young people with cancer and their families in the South West.”
