Giant ferris wheel comes to Anchor Square

By Bristol24/7  Tuesday Oct 18, 2016

A 35-metre high ferris wheel will be part of At-Bristol’s Christmas celebrations this festive season, which sees the popular ice rink return for its fourth year in Millennium Square.

The Skyview Wheel on Anchor Square will offer rides for up to six passengers per cabin for a five-minute ride costing from £4 per child and £5 per adult.

It will be joined by an après-ski themed container bar with rooftop views of the ice rink, a selection of small chalet stalls selling festive foods and a Christmas tree.

At-Bristol’s commercial and operations director, Donna Speed, said: “Having the ice rink on Millennium Square is always a special time for us; this year it’s going to be extra special.”

The ice rink will open from November 5 until January 3. Tickets are on sale now, with events including evening discos and special under-8s sessions.
