Giant Pokemon hunt planned through Bristol
Just when you thought Bristol’s love of Pokemon was finally waning, dozens – if not hundreds – of people could be joining to form a giant hunt through the city for the little critters.
There is the promise of Charmanders, Bulbasaurs and maybe even a Pikachu on the six-hour “Pokemon Go 100 Lure Adventure” which starts at 11am on Saturday on the Downs and finishes at Castle Park.
The route has been carefully chosen, according to the organisers, and there is a plan to lay 100 Pokemon “lures” to attract the most rare of them all.
is needed now More than ever
Frank West, 30, a game designer from Hotwells who has organised the hunt, said: “We just feel like it’s a really good way of building a community and getting to know each other.
“It’s also a great way to engage in the healthier part of Pokemon Go, which is walking about. You can sit in Castle Park for six hours playing it or you can get up, move about and explore the city.”
The event is being organised through this Facebook page.
