Greville Smyth festival organisers move event to harbourside
Organisers behind a festival planned for Greville Smyth Park have announced the event is relocating to Bristol harbourside.
The team behind the festival say they have made the decision in response to residents concerns about noise in the original location.
They have also announced a new date, with Sequences Festival now taking place place at Lloyds Amphitheatre on October 2, with headliners Chase & Status.

Platform Live organiser Tom Hoyle says the event will be the first of its kind.
“We are so pleased to be able to relocate Sequences to this prestigious location, which means we are able to still bring Chase & Status and our terrific lineup of artists to Bristol’s music fans,” said Tom.
“We have a huge network of suppliers working on the event and we’re pleased to be able to move to a date later in the summer to give us time to respond to the latest changes in the government guidelines for mass gatherings.”
Tom added: “Bristol Harbourside is a great backdrop for music events and easily accessible for our audience. Big thanks to Bristol City Council for helping us to create something new for the city this summer.”
The event is currently sold out, though refund requests may open up a small space for reallocation. Sign up here.
