‘Help’ spelled out in daffodils next to M32
‘Help’. It’s a word that many of us have been saying in Bristol over the last few days.
The word has now appeared spelled out in daffodils next to the M32 – the latest example of guerrilla gardening that saw ‘Earth’ and ‘fragile’ in bloom on a roundabout near Bedminster Down.
The guerrilla gardening is once again the work of garden designer and artist Tim Robertson and a stealth undercover team.
is needed now More than ever
Highlighting the climate emergency, hundreds of daffodils make up the four letters on a surprisingly steep section of Riverside Park in St Jude’s.
It was a nervous wait for Tim and the team, with the daffodil bulbs planted under the cover of darkness at the end of 2020 and only now their work able to be appreciated.
The best view of the display on Riverside Park is from Newfoundland Road next to St Paul’s Adventure Playground.
