Help us to help our city

By Martin Booth  Monday Nov 30, 2020

As 2020 is thankfully almost at an end, Bristol24/7 is more grateful than ever for the support of our members.

Despite our magazine making a return in October and November, we have had to make the very difficult decision not to publish it again until the new year, as well as again furloughing some of our small team.

Our aim at Bristol24/7 continues to be to bring people together, and rest assured, the Bristol24/7 website, newsletters and social media accounts continue to be the place where you can find out the latest news about what is happening across our city.

Independent journalism
is needed now More than ever
Keep our city's journalism independent. Become a supporter member today.

Our innovative community reporters scheme is just one of the ways in which Bristol24/7 members – paying just £5 a month – help support the work that we do.

Our business members and loyal advertisers also help us to help our city, providing much-needed support. You can also make a one-off contribution to support Bristol24/7’s independent journalism at a time when it continues to be needed more than ever.

We are also still hosting events online, with our next event taking place on December 10: Bristol24/7 Presents: Building back fairer, greener, stronger, focusing on how our city’s businesses can thrive in the wake of Covid-19.

We have recently joined forces with Weston College to support young people from across the city who are looking for employment or an apprenticeship, by creating the Better Business Traineeship Programme.

Throughout December, we will once again publish our annual Charity Advent Calendar, showcasing a different charity every day in the run-up to Christmas; and we also regularly provide small charities with marketing support.

Much of this work can only be made possible thanks to the help of Bristol24/7’s members. Become a supporter member and your money will go directly towards independent journalism and social impact projects in Bristol, as well as access to exclusive perks.

Thank you for all of your support of Bristol24/7 during 2020. You really do help us to help our city.
