Huge fire tears through Redland garage
Four people were treated for smoke inhalation after a fire tore through a garage in Redland.
Four fire engines and 20 firefighters were called to Autotec Garage and Service Centre on Lower Redland Road at lunchtime on Thursday.

Thick clouds of smoke could be seen billowing from the garages from miles around, leading to 30 emergency calls, Avon Fire & Rescue Service said.
Crews advised people in the area to keep their doors and windows closed.

An Avon Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: “Crews in breathing apparatus used water jets to tackle the fire which involved a number of vehicles and the building. More than 30 calls were received by the Service reporting the incident.
“Four people were treated at the scene for the effects of smoke inhalation and one was taken to hospital as a precaution.”
