Hundreds march against vaccine mandates

Around 300 people attended a rally on College Green on Saturday before walking through the city centre.

Speakers ahead of the march spoke about climate change, the dangers of a cashless society and BBC bias, but the main theme of the event – part of the Worldwide Rally For Freedom – was concerns about the coronavirus vaccine.

Among the banners were those for NHS 100K, an initiative set up in November 2021 by a group of ambulance workers “who support freedom of choice and reject vaccine mandates”.
