In photos: Bristol wakes up to snow

By Rachel Sutherland  Sunday Dec 11, 2022

A thin layer of snow dusted the city in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Many people across Bristol woke up to see snow on their streets.

The sky over the city is a blanket of thick white clouds.

The temperature on Sunday is set to stay at around zero degrees with highs of one degree, reports BBC Weather.

A yellow weather warning of snow and ice was issued by the Met Office on Thursday and remains in place until 12pm on Sunday.

This looks like the last bit of snow the city will be getting for the next couple of weeks at least.

The people of Bristol have wrapped up warm and stepped outside to get some frosty photos of their neighbourhoods while the white stuff lasts.
