In photos: Grand Iftar on College Green
The Grand Iftar has taken place on College Green for the first time, attended by around 1,000 people.
First started in 2017, the annual event on St Mark’s Road in Easton is held by local Muslim communities, celebrating the month of Ramadan.
Building on its success, the Grand Iftar on College Green on Thursday evening was the first city-wide Iftar.

The event, which saw speeches, prayer and music while participants shared a meal together, was organised by Muslims 4 Bristol in partnership with Bridges for Communities.
