By Charlie Watts  Friday Apr 14, 2023

The Grand Iftar has taken place on College Green for the first time, attended by around 1,000 people.

First started in 2017, the annual event on St Mark’s Road in Easton is held by local Muslim communities, celebrating the month of Ramadan.

Building on its success, the Grand Iftar on College Green on Thursday evening was the first city-wide Iftar.
