Investigation continues into Leigh Woods fire

By Ben Parr  Monday Apr 4, 2016

Fire officers are still investigating the cause of a blaze at a derelict building near the Ashton Court Estate last night.

A fire crew was still on the scene earlier today where they extinguished the last of the fire. The fire was in an uninhabited building in the Leigh Woods area, despite some early concerns that Ashton Court Mansion itself was involved.

Avon and Fire Rescue service said that they received around 50 calls last night about the incident.
