Jim’ll Paint It needs your suggestions for a Bristol-themed illustration
Bristol24/7 can reveal it is commissioning art from three talented local artists as part of its tenth birthday celebrations this year.
One such artist is Jim’ll Paint It, a digital artist from Bristol known for his colourful, larger than life illustrations depicting notable figures in less than conventional situations.
His previous illustrations, made in Microsoft Paint, have featured everything from Jeremy Clarkson working in a McDonalds to Fred Dibnah toppling the Eye of Sauron.
is needed now More than ever

The absurdity of Jim’s work is often down to the fact that he takes submissions from his audience.
And now it is the turn of Bristol24/7’s audience to tell Jim what to paint.
There’s only one rule: it has to be Bristol-focused. Think a bizarre mashup of people, places and things related to our city – the weirder the better.

The chosen design will be used as a front cover for the next Bristol24/7 magazine, and will be printed across a range of t-shirts and other merch soon to be announced.
The person behind the chosen idea will receive a free T-shirt as well as tickets to Bristol24/7’s tenth anniversary party.
If you have a Bristol-themed idea of what Jim’ll Paint It should draw, please fill out our suggestions form. The deadline for submissions is January 16.
