Jungle on a moving mobility scooter video goes viral

By Martin Booth  Thursday Jul 11, 2019

“Doesn’t get anymore Bristol than this,” drum & bass DJ Danny Byrd tweeted when posting a video of a man riding down a road in Barton Hill sat on top of speakers blaring out jungle strapped on a mobility scooter.

“Best. City. In. The. World.” replied Maya Jama, who grew up in Bristol and is a fellow DJ with Byrd on BBC Radio 1.

The original video of a man identified as Ant Paradox was posted by Neeley April O’Sullivan:

The footage appears to have been shot out of the passenger window of O’Sullivan’s car as she drove along Avonvale Road.

Since being posted on O’Sullivan’s Facebook page on July 5, the video has been viewed almost 50,000 times.

Byrd’s own version of the video has so far racked up more than 100,000 views on Twitter.
