Knife-wielding robbers on motorbike chase e-bike riders through streets
Two men allegedly armed with a machete chased a pair of young cyclists through Clifton in broad daylight in an attempt to steal their electric bike.
A witness said that the cyclists were “screaming in fear as they tried to escape the knifemen” who chased them by motorbike from the Clifton Triangle, down Jacob’s Wells Road and then up Lower Clifton Hill.
The youngsters were knocked to the ground at the junction with Bellevue but the assailants fled the scene after the commotion brought out people from nearby houses on Friday afternoon.
