Knowle West street lined with England flags for Euros
A street in Knowle West has been covered with England flags for the Euros, earning it the label as “the most patriotic street” in the country.
Torrington Avenue has bunting stretching across the entire road, with every house showing its support for the Three Lions.
The flags and bunting are a tradition on the street, with resident Darren Harding taking 12 hours to put them all up this year.

This year’s decorations are also a tribute to Darren’s brother-in-law Paul “Scooter” Sturridge, who has passed away after a battle with cancer.
No doubt Knowle Westers, along with the rest of the country, will be hoping for an England win against Germany in the match on Tuesday, which kicks off at 5pm.
