Lamborghini driver arrested after 130mph police chase on M32

By Lowie Trevena  Monday Jul 6, 2020

Police have arrested a Lamborghini driver who reached speeds of more than 130mph on the M32.

The driver failed to stop for police and drove at almost twice the motorway’s speed limit on Saturday evening before they were detained.

Avon and Somerset Police’s road safety team quoted the classic fable of the tortoise and the hare after the arrest in the early hours of Sunday morning, as well as tweeting a photograph of the supercar on a low loader.

“This #Lamborghini failed to stop for us tonight in #Bristol. It reached speeds of 130mph+ on the #M32.

“However we all know the story of the Tortoise and the Hare.

“Tortoise 1, Hare nil. Driver will be put before the courts for various driving offences.”
