M32 fatal crash: Police appeal to drivers

By Pamela Parkes  Tuesday Feb 3, 2015

Officers investigating a fatal crash on the M32 in January, are appealing to drivers to check if they have any video of the incident.

60-year-old Lorraine Mckeag died when her car was crushed by a lorry at around 10.45am on Tuesday 13 January, at the roundabout of junction one of the M32 and junction 19 of the M4.

Officers are asking haulage industry drivers to check any footage recorded on cameras fitted to the front of the vehicles, if they were using the M32 on the morning of the collision.

Investigating officer PC Richard Nuttall said: “We’re appealing to drivers, especially those working in the haulage industry, to check footage recorded on any cameras fitted to their vehicles, if they were using the M32 around the time the fatal collision happened.

“Any footage which shows the collision or the vehicles involved before the collision would be invaluable to our investigation.”

If you can help, please call PC Richard Nuttall via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 101.
