Man dies after being found unconscious in Bristol city centre

A man who was found unconscious in Bristol city centre in the early hours of Tuesday morning has died.

The man was found by a member of the public on Canon’s Way in the Harbourside and was taken to hospital, where he sadly passed away.

His death is currently being treated as unexplained but is not thought to be suspicious.

Police enquiries are ongoing, with part of Cathedral Walk and Canon’s Way roped off by police tape on Tuesday.
