Man found on pavement with head injuries dies

A 48-year-old man found with head injuries in Hartcliffe has died.

Police have seized local CCTV in the area and are appealing for witness.

However, they said the death is not being treated as suspicious “at this stage”.

The man was found by a member of the public on the ground close to a property on Bishport Avenue at 7am on Monday, June 29.

He was taken to hospital but died on Friday July 3. 

An Avon and Somerset spokesperson said: “We would like to hear from anyone who was in the Bishport Avenue area of Bristol on the morning of June 29. 

“Anyone with information is asked to contact us now on 101.”
