Man hospitalised in early morning incident on centre
An area of the centre close to the fountains was sealed off by police tape on Saturday following an early morning incident.
Several crime scene markers had been placed on the ground while a forensics team carried out an investigation.
Traders at the Harbourside Market continued to set up their stalls while the investigation by South West Police Forensics took place and other officers prevented access to the scene.

In a statement, Avon & Somerset police said: “An investigation is ongoing into an assault which occurred in Broad Quay, Bristol, at around 2.20am today (Saturday).
“One man has been taken to hospital with a suspected head injury. Enquiries are ongoing.”
