Man struck by brick on bus

A brick that was thrown through a bus window has left a 65 year-old man at risk of life-changing injuries.

The bus was stopped at Inns Court Avenue in Knowle when a brick smashed the glass and struck the man in the head.

The incident took place yesterday at 11.30pm when the man was travelling on the Number 90 bus to Hengrove.

His condition has since deteriorated in hospital, although he is now currently in stable condition, Avon and Somerset Police said.

They are now appealing for anybody who witnessed the incident, or if anybody who has any other information, to come forward by calling Bristol Investigations via 101 and quoting reference 5216140965.
