Prince Street bridge to reopen to cars
Marvin Rees’ promise to reopen Prince Street bridge to cars from April has been met with a mixed response:
The bridge has been closed for almost 18 months because of a major delay in the construction process.

Campaigners have tried for nearly a year to make the bridge only accessible for cyclists and pedestrians, but it has now been announced that the bridge will be used once again by cars.
The reopening of Prince Street bridge is part of the council’s long-term plans to redirect motor traffic away from the city centre.
