Monsters Inc Gromit unveiled

A familiar furry face will form part of this year’s Gromit Unleashed 2 sculpture trail.

A Gromit in the likeness of Sulley from Monsters Inc has been designed by the team at US animation studio Pixar.

Sulley is one of the principal scarers in the Monsters Inc universe, although his Gromit version – called Gromit P Sullivan – is more cuddly than creepy.

There are 67 sculptures of Gromit, Wallace and Feathers McGraw on this year’s trail, which runs from July 2 to September 2, raising money for The Grand Appeal.

Although the trail doesn’t start until Monday, the figurines are being installed in locations around Bristol from Thursday.

The trail was officially launched this week with the help of Bristol Ferry Boats:
