Museum of Water comes to Bristol
A melted snowman in a bottle, water from a holy river in India and water from a burst pipe are just some of the things on display at The Museum of Water, coming to Bristol from June 19-21 to round off Bristol’s Big Green Week.
The Museum of Water is the creation of artist Amy Sharrocks, and invites us to think about how we use the precious liquid and in what ways it’s important to us.
The collection currently includes over 500 bottles of publicly donated water, and visitors are invited to make their own donation as well.
is needed now More than ever
For inspiration – some more examples of the bottles on display include bottled breath, a newborn baby’s bath water and Norwegian spit.
For its Bristol visit, The Museum of Water has teamed up with local water charity, Frank.
The Museum of Water will be located at the Bristol Lab Space on the Harbourside, June 19-21. Find out more: www.biggreenweek.com/event/museum-water
