Mystery as narrowboat sinks suddenly in docks
Work is continuing to try to refloat a narrowboat that sank close to the Thekla.
The boat brought down most of a floating pontoon as it descended to the watery depths, just days after it returned from being made shipshape at Underfall Yard.
Bristol24/7 understands that the boat at The Grove moorings had only recently been purchased by new owners.

A spokesperson for Bristol City Council said: “We are currently investigating why the boat sank in the harbour last week and remain in communication with the owner.
“The boat will be recovered this week and towed to the Bristol Marina for further investigation.”
