By Bristol24/7  Wednesday Sep 14, 2016

Bookings are now being taken for rooms at Bristol’s newest hotel which opens in October.

Bristol Harbour Hotel occupies two former banks on Corn Street. It offers 42 bedrooms, a new restaurant and a spa due to open next year in the former basement bank vaults.

What is set to become an impressive events space will be found in the former banking hall of the Lloyds Bank building, with seating for up to 300 guests beneath a large skylight.

The room (pictured above) will be known as Sansovino Hall, named after the architect of the 16th century Library of St Mark in Venice, after which the design of the former Lloyds Bank building is inspired.

Bristol Harbour Hotel is one of 13 hotels in the group. Room prices start from £145 per room per night, bed and breakfast based on two people sharing.
