New direct bus service between Bristol and Amsterdam
A new bus service that links Bristol with five major European cities is launching in time for summer.
Budget coach travel company FlixBus has announced it is rolling out five new routes travelling to European cities from our city.
Direct journeys from Bristol to Antwerp, Utrecht and Amsterdam are set to launch from July 13. From July 21, services from Bristol to Bruges, Rotterdam and Amsterdam, via London, will operate five days a week through FlixBus partner, Turners Coachways, based in Bristol.

The company is also extending its services from Bristol to Plymouth into the South West, now covering Newquay, Hayle and Penzance for the summer season. This route will operate twice daily from 20 July, operated by Berrys Coaches.
Operating five days a week, tickets from Bristol to Amsterdam start at £27.99 with the journey taking around 15 hours, while Bruges starts from £19.99.

“Summer travel just became more affordable and sustainable than ever thanks to our new international and domestic routes,” said Andreas Schorling, managing director of FlixBus UK.
“We’re building the largest coach network in the country and as part of our unique offering, we’ll become first coach provider offering regular scheduled services from Bristol into some of Europe’s most popular destinations.”
FlixBus offers free wi-fi, onboard charging points and luggage as part of the ticket price.
