She said: “I am delighted to be selected as Green Group Leader. The Green group councillors are great people to work with and I also look forward to working in a constructive fashion with all political groups to make Bristol a greener, more socially just place.”

Bolton took on the role of leader after the last election.
He said: “As one of our most experienced councillors, I felt I should step in as leader to enable our new councillors to find their feet, but I am very happy to be able to stand down now and spend more time in my ward and on other projects.”
