New Sainsbury’s to open near Temple Meads
It is an area of Bristol becoming almost unrecognisable from only a few years ago.
Flats are now continuing to be built on land snapped up by developers, with one development, Box Makers Yard, containing a residents’ gym, workspaces and lounge, and a communal roof terrace.
The flats on Avon Street could also soon be getting a supermarket.
is needed now More than ever
Sainsbury’s has put in an application to Bristol City Council for a convenience store located at Unit 1 of Box Makers Yard on Avon Street.
Twenty-four hour opening hours have been applied for from Monday to Sunday, with alcohol for sale from 7am to 11pm.
