Nominations now open for Bristol Diversity Awards 2019

By Bristol24/7  Monday Jan 21, 2019

Businesses, organisations or individuals who champion various areas of diversity including age, faith, religion, disability, gender and sexuality can all be nominated for the Bristol Diversity Awards 2019.

The third annual awards ceremony will be taking place on May 18 at the Mercure Holland House Hotel in Bristol.

Organisers say that last year’s sold-out event was “a real testament to Bristol’s commitment to all strands of diversity with an array of local people being honoured”.

The number of award categories have been expanded for 2019, with UWE Bristol revealed as the main sponsors, and Bristol24/7, the Bristol Cable and the Bristol Post as media partners.

This year’s ceremony will give out around 35 awards covering all aspects of diversity. Anyone can nominate online through the website www.bristoldiversityawards.co.uk.

Nominations close at midnight on February 28 with shortlisted nominees announced shortly afterwards.

Tables for dinner are available by visiting the awards website, where there are also opportunities for local business and organisations to get involved and support or sponsor particular awards.
