Old Vic search for partner to run new café

By Laura Barba  Monday May 8, 2017

The Bristol Old Vic have announced that they are seeking a catering partner to run their new café/bar, which they plan to open in 2018.

The glorious Georgian auditorium was renovated in 2012, and since then renovations have been ongoing. The historic theatre’s front of house area is currently undergoing a huge transformation.

The exciting new developments will soon see the creation of a warm, welcoming front of house space for the people of Bristol. The new area will have a street-front café/bar and event spaces. It will combine historic architecture with new design for everyone to enjoy, offering food and drink all day.

“The building moves towards the next phase of its life,” says Erick Muzard, commercial director. As yet, the catering company who will be running the new café is still to be found, and the Old Vic team are keen to hear from interested parties.

“We want to create a space that reflects the unique personality of BOV and its city,” Erick continues. “We want it to be flexible to the huge range of activities we’ll be offering. We look forward to finding the right catering partner to join the Bristol Old Vic family.”
