One way only for M32 advertising hoarding

By Bristol24/7  Wednesday Aug 31, 2016

A 50 foot advertising hoarding on the M32 has been been given permission – but only for one side.

The Shah Jalal Mosque in Easton wanted to raise money for a new prayer space for women by selling part of their car park to an advertising company.

However, Bristol City Council have only approved plans for the screen to advertise to inbound traffic.

Planners decided a screen for outbound traffic could be distracting.

A number of further restrictions on the remaining digital display were also imposed including making sure the signs are not too bright and preventing the display changing too quickly.
