The owner of a dog that killed a poodle in Bedminster Down has come forward.

They have now confirmed that the owner of the large American bulldog believed to have been involved in the incident has voluntarily come into the station.
is needed now More than ever
A couple were walking their poodle through the park, which is also known as Manor Woods, when the loose bulldog attacked and killed it instantly.
Issuing an appeal, investigating officer PC Thomas Thompson said: “This was a vicious and unprovoked attack on a couple’s dog, which has left them shaken and traumatised.
“Whilst it is horrific enough for a couple’s pet to be killed in this way, had it been a child, the consequences don’t bear thinking about.”
Police enquiries into the incident are continuing.
