Playing with shadows across Bristol

Along Leonard Lane, under a street light near the bridge over this medieval alleyway, shadows have come out to play.

Walk under the light and then watch your shadow come back to life a few seconds later.

Wait some more and see more shadows that have recently appeared here made by other people who have wandered by.

Even Peter Pan’s shadow didn’t behave like this.

There are eight similar locations across Bristol as part of Shadowing, the winner of Watershed’s Playable City Award 2014, which last year brought us talking lampposts and this year has been designed by Jonathan Chomko and Matthew Rosier.

Expect more locations to be revealed in the coming days.
