Police continue to search Barton Hill house

Police are continuing to search a house in Barton Hill following the disappearance of the missing teenager Becky Watts.

Officers from the scientific investigations unit entered the house in Cotton Mill Lane on Monday morning.

On the same morning, a warrant of further detention regarding the two people arrested in connection with the investigation has been granted at Bristol Magistrates’ Court.

Officers have been given a further 36 hours to question the two people, who remain in custody.
