Post box given festive makeover
A sprinkling of snow has brought a magical finishing touch to the latest creation of the Sea Mills yarn bomber.
The knitted scene of a snow couple, robin, tree and presents adorns the post box at Sea Mills Post Office on Shirehampton Road.
It’s the work of Judy McIntosh, and is the fourth post box topper she’s knitted this year.
is needed now More than ever

In Sea Mills, there are other signs that Christmas is coming. St Edyth’s Church tower is lit with an advent star, carols have been sung at the Cafe on the Square’s regular festive celebration and the Sea Mills Museum‘s Christmas lights are lit.

There is news too of Santa. He will again be accompanying the Avonmouth Project Group, touring the area and handing out presents to children in Avomouth, Shirehampton, Lawrence Weston, Sea Mills and Coombe Dingle in the run-up to Christmas.
We’ve got the museum ready for #Christmas and just in time for #Carols on the Square this evening. Maybe see some of you at 6pm for carols and mulled wine ❤️ (Sat 3 Dec 2022) pic.twitter.com/1ERURQRsQ6
