Puppies rescued from house fire

Four puppies had a lucky escape from a house fire during the weekend when they were rescued by firefighters.

Avon Fire and Rescue say the litter made it out unharmed from a property in Bedminster on Sunday “in the nick of time”.

The service said an electric scooter had caught fire and caused extensive fire and smoke damage to the None of the occupants were hurt, they added.

The fire causes extensive damage to the property

Posting on X, Bedminster Fire Station said: These lucky pups got out in the nick of time from an electric scooter fire inside a house today, naturally we all had to have post fire cuddles to check they were all OK!”
