Eager runners sought ahead of Bristol half marathon
On Sunday September 17, runners will take to Bristol’s streets for a half-marathon that takes in sights such as the Harbourside and Clifton Suspension Bridge.
For Bristol-based cancer support charity Penny Brohn, the Bristol half is their flagship local race, and a vital part of their fundraising efforts throughout the year.
Spaces are still available to run for the charity this year – whether you are still deciding whether to take part, or even if you’ve already entered the race but aren’t running for a charity.
is needed now More than ever
“We want to create a sea of purple, whether that is runners or, if running isn’t your thing, at our famed cheer point,” says Emma Smith, head of community and challenge events at Penny Brohn.
“We’ll really make you feel part of Team Penny Brohn, and the more runners involved, the more people we can help locally and across the UK.”
