Rainbow hearts painted on College Green
College Green has been painted with a rainbow of coloured hearts by Bristol City Centre BID.
It’s part of the business improvement district’s #LoveBristol campaign and in support of the start of this year’s scaled-back Bristol Pride.
The hearts were painted on the grass on the same day that a rainbow crossing on Union Street was defaced only two days after being unveiled.
is needed now More than ever
Painted by artists from Upfest and also featuring the #LoveBristol logo, the hearts enable bigger groups to gather outdoors together to sit inside them.

The #LoveBristol logos in Broadmead will also be turned into rainbows to support Bristol Pride.
The campaign is spearheaded by the Bristol City Centre BID and follows on from Love Songs to the City, with lyrics from well-known love songs currently hanging over several city centre streets.
