Street photography workshops coming to St Mark’s Road

By Hannah Cornford  Wednesday May 22, 2019

Bristol24/7 promotes local photos and photography through our monthly Instagram showcase and, more recently, reader photo of the month – which is now the centre page spread of our monthly magazine. We believe photography tells stories in a unique way: a single photo can highlight issues and inspire people to create change.

That’s why we’ve teamed up with local photographer Colin Moody to host a street photography workshop on one of Bristol’s cultural crown jewels: St Mark’s Road in Easton.

Get your ticket for the street photography workshop: Thursday 13 June, 6-8.30pm

Colin Moody is best known for his photography of Stokes Croft and Montpelier, which has been turned into a book. He wanted to run these workshops for anyone who would like to tell better stories with their photos and is interested in exploring behind the scenes of the diverse neighbourhoods around Easton.

The money raised from ticket sales will go towards running similar workshops with people who may not otherwise be able to access them, as part of our Better Bristol initiative.

We have also made a few free tickets available to Bristol24/7 members who are already supporting Better Bristol. To take advantage of this offer you will need to sign up as a supporter member of Bristol24/7 and go to the perks section of the members area.
