Teenager left with ‘serious injuries’ after hit and run in Fishponds
Witnesses have reportedly described seeing a car being apparently deliberately driven towards the victim of a hit and run on Vassall Road.
Police have launched an appeal following the incident that left the 19-year-old-man hospitalised with “serious injuries”. Officers say they are not believed to be life-threatening.
The teenager was riding an electric scooter on the road at around 11pm on Tuesday, July 19 when the incident happened. The driver of the car – described as a red Skoda – failed to stop.

Police are seeking witnesses and people with dashcam or other footage to come forward following the hit and run.
A force spokesperson said: “If you were on Vassall Road and saw the incident – or the vehicle in the moments before or afterwards – please call 101 and give the reference 5222172210.
“The same applies if you have any dashcam, CCTV, doorbell or other footage which could help the investigation.”
