The Louisiana
Despite its unlikely appearance, the tiny upstairs gig room in this former sea-farer’s hotel has played host to The Strokes, White Stripes, Muse, Coldplay, Elbow and a gazillion other now-world-famous acts. Obviously when you put on several bands a night pretty much every night of the year the law of averages has a part to play, but Mig Schillace and his team at the Louis do seem to have a a knack for catching bands on the up.
