The Old Duke

The jolly, shabby Old Duke is a jazz and blues institution whose cider-addled crowds frequently spill out onto the ancient cobbles of King Street. There’s live music every night of the week and admission is free. The annual summer Jazz Festival is good for boozy long afternoons: the clinking of glasses in the sunshine, the shameless seagulls swiping chips, the gentle drift of a muted trumpet on the air.
