The organ that took up most of a house has finally been removed
It was one of the more unusual stories from Bristol in recent years.
And now a new chapter can be written, with the pipe organ built into a terraced home now finally removed and set to go on display in a museum.
Not just any museum: This Museum Is (Not) Obsolete, based in Ramsgate in Kent, and home to experimental and obsolete scientific and musical technology.
is needed now More than ever
The former church organ will be rebuilt in This Museum Is (Not) Obsolete so it can played again.
It was originally built in the house on Cliftonwood Crescent in Cliftonwood so that a former church organist could practise at home.

In a video published on YouTube on Monday, Sam Battle of Look Mum No Computer said that he had bought the extravagant musical instrument on eBay.
He drove across the country to pick up the organ, what he described as “an absolutely beautiful hunk of wood and metal”.
