The return of Bristol Ferry Boats
The familiar sight of Bristol’s blue and yellow ferry boats is set to make a return to the city’s waterways.
The service has relaunched for what will be the first full season in two years for the community-owned business, which has been hit hard by the impact of Covid-19.
The company is launching a new swift waterbus service that will showcase some of the city’s highlights and can be used as a single ferry boat journey or a stay-on-board fare for those wanting to enjoy a full trip around the harbour.
is needed now More than ever
Roisin Tobin-Brooke, the chief executive of Bristol Ferry Boats, says the crew can’t wait to get back on the water to welcome passengers.

“Bristol’s harbourside is one of the nicest places to be in the spring and summer months, and we are delighted that our new season service will now be getting underway after a difficult two years,” said Roisin.
“We have some brilliant new crew members who have recently joined us along with our friendly, familiar faces, and we are all looking forward to welcoming passengers aboard.”
The company plans to put on its usual trips and tours, including journeys upriver to Beeses Riverside Bar and will be announcing a full schedule of 2022 trips and events in the coming weeks.
