Once known as the Turnpike Inn, this Grade II listed Victorian Gothic former toll house has been restored as a lively and surprisingly eclectic live events venue.  Alongside local ales, cider and Sunday roasts, expect anything from singer-songwriters to punk poets, indie legends and top authors. “Lovely atmosphere, deeply receptive and intelligent audience – a delight” said lugubrious luminary Will Self.
