The Trinity Centre
This imposing, Grade II listed former church houses a burgeoning community centre and cultural hub, offering a wealth of classes and activities and a sterling roster of live music. The annual, free fireworks display’s always a cracker, and they’ve recently held open-air cinema nights in the garden: this B247 writer tumbled gracelessly over a picnic bench during the climactic scenes of a recent screening of The Lost Boys. Nobody was hurt.
Hidden in the Trinity’s community allotment is an atmospheric compost loo, best enjoyed in the blurry darkness after a gig.
