Hartcliffe resident Lewis Baker, 20, is due in court on October 24, for driving offences, including driving without insurance.

A third man from Whitchurch was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs and has since been released under investigation.

Hartcliffe beat manager PC Richard Jefferey said: “A key aspect of our work in these areas is to focus on the cars, which we know are used to carry drugs around the community and are often driven without insurance, by people without driving licences or any of the correct paperwork.

“We need local people to tell us what they know. If you suspect a car is being used to carry and deal drugs in your area, then please report it.”

Report anything suspicious via the police website or by calling 101. If a crime is in progress then call 999.

Alternatively, pass information anonymously to Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555111, or online.

Crimestoppers never ask for names or trace calls and offer rewards of up to £1000 for information leading to an arrest and charge.
