Three Lions bomb hoaxer pleads guilty
A resident of West Street has pleaded guilty to making a bomb hoax which caused his neighbours and the Three Lions pub to be evacuated on Sunday.
Michael Casey, 39, admitted one count of communicating false information in relation to a call he made to police, saying that he had left suspicious items at the pub in Bedminster.
A 50-metre cordon was put in place by police which remained for most of the afternoon and evening while police carried out a search of the area, with Casey being arrested that night after nothing was found.
