Travel advice for Massive Attack all-dayer
If you were lucky enough to get a ticket for Massive Attack’s all-dayer on the Downs on Saturday, you’ll be better off leaving your car at home.
Festival goers have been asked not to attempt to drive to the Downs at all for the event starting at 1pm as no parking will be available, all bay parking will be suspended and road closures will be in place to direct traffic away from the site.
Anyone who needs to drive for mobility reasons should contact the organisers in advance.
is needed now More than ever
Park and ride facilities will put in place in partnership with First Bus from Long Ashton Park & Ride and from Portway Park & Ride, with buses running at least every 10 minutes at peak times.
Shuttle buses will also run from Temple Meads and the centre to and from the Downs from midday until midnight.
Event organisers are working in partnership with Sustrans to provide a dedicated bike park area on the Downs, with bikes able to be collected at the end of the night.
Spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis, with cyclists needing to pre-register for bike parking via www.sustrans.org.uk/massive-attack-bike-parking.
